Inspired to become a physician from a young age, Dr. Camilla Gupta dedicated her career to mastering pediatric medicine.After completing her undergraduate training at UC Berkeley, she earned her medical degree and completed her pediatric residency locally at Driscoll Children’s Hospital.Following several years of practice in Iowa, she chose to return to Corpus Christi - a community she holds incredibly close to her heart - to provide exceptional care to local families.

When I meet people socially - especially other parents here in South Texas - I often get asked,"What is it about your practice that allows your parents to worry less and feel more confident?"The truth is, my approach to pediatrics was not shaped by a corporate business plan.It was shaped by an unforgettable night during my senior residency training at Driscoll Children's Hospital.I was caring for a medically complex child and walked into the room to find the parents completely exhausted.They had just spent 45 minutes recalling and relaying details about specialist appointments, medications, and allergies to yet another rotating team member.The mother looked at me and said, "We just wish someone already knew him."That comment hit me profoundly. I realized that a huge part of parenting stress isn't the symptoms themselves, but the crushing logistical burden of a broken healthcare system.

Dr. Gupta is available Monday to Friday, 5 days a week at our Alameda office for routine check-ups, wellness exams, and scheduled appointments.
